Change of Shareholders took place in JSC “Nurbank”. The deal on acquisition of 70% of shares by Sofia Sarsenova was fulfilled last Friday.

Earlier, on April, 26 this year the Agency of the Republic of Kazakhstan on Regulation and supervision of financial market and financial organizations has enabled Ms. Sofia Sarsenova to obtain status of major Shareholder of JSC “Nurbank” with a total share of 10,29% by issuing the decree # 57.

Change of Shareholders structure will not lead to the significant changes to the Bank strategy. One of the Bank’s main priorities will remain the creation of universal financial institution with a high level of Clientele servicing and comprehensive approach to the presenting of qualified banking services and products.

Realizing accepted strategy, JSC “Nurbank” has finished 2009 with net profit of KZT 762 mln and plans to achieve the result of KZT 1 bln by the end of this year.  

JSC “Nurbank” is one of the top ten banks in Kazakhstan, ranking the eighth place in terms of basic financial figures.  The assets of JSC”Nurbank” as of January 1, 2009 equaled KZT 295 bln, shareholders equity – KZT 45 bln, Bank’s credit portfolio – KZT 261 bln.
