Mr. Marat Zairov was appointed as the Chairman of the Management Board on March 2, 2009. Prior to Nurbank, Mr. Zairov held position of the Deputy Chairman of the Management Board of JSC «Halyk Bank of Kazakhstan», where he supervised the SME and retail sectors of the bank.

Nurbank JSC is among the ten largest banks of Kazakhstan. According to audited, consolidated IFRS Bank’s financial statements as of 31.12.08 the Assets of the Bank have made KZT 298.8 bln. comparing to KZT 198.7 bln. at 31.12.07 with the growth of 50.4%.

Customer Deposits have been increased from KZT 58.8 bln (31.21.07) to KZT 185.5 bln (31.12.08) and made up over 70% of total obligations.
